Founding Seller Promo
Deuce's Founding Seller Promo recognizes the earliest people to list gear on the platform. This page is part of the Terms of Service and is the source of truth for who qualifies and what they receive.
1. Who qualifies
Your founding number is assigned automatically the first time you create a listing on Deuce. It is the position of your first listing among all sellers' first listings on the platform. You keep your founding number permanently — it is visible in your account settings under Founding.
2. What you get
- First 50 sellers (founding numbers 1–50): One free sale. Deuce takes no platform fee on your first successful order. The standard fee applies to every sale after that, unless you also qualify under the next tier.
- First 20 sellers (founding numbers 1–20): A permanent reduced platform fee of 7% on every sale, instead of the standard 12%. This rate is locked to your account and applies for as long as you sell on Deuce.
Founding numbers 1–20 receive both benefits. Numbers 21–50 receive only the free first sale.
3. Our commitment
Deuce will not retroactively modify the founding-seller perks for members of either cohort. If you qualify, your benefits are honored for the life of your account. If we later raise the standard platform fee, your locked rate stays where it is.
We may end the promo for new sellers at any time (the cohorts are capped at 50 and 20 by design). Doing so does not affect anyone who has already been assigned a number.
4. What can disqualify you
Founding-seller status is tied to your account in good standing. Material violations of the Terms — fraudulent listings, repeated anti-disintermediation breaches, or account suspension — may forfeit the benefits. We will tell you why if this happens.
